Pat Shortt is a writer, producer and performer living in Limerick. He made his entrance to the entertainment world as co-creator and one of D’unbelieveables, Irelands biggest selling comedy duo. In 2002 Pat went solo creating the hit show Killinaskully for RTE drawing 500,000 to 700,000 viewers each week even topping one million viewers for a Christmas special. As an actor and performer Pat has sold out shows all over Ireland with his various live comedy shows. His 2007 role in the much acclaimed ‘Garage’ brought him three Best Actor awards. His credits include ‘Fr.Ted’, ‘The Fitz’, ‘Moone Boy’, ‘Strength and Honor’, ‘Man about Dog’, and ‘Soul Boy’ among others.

As a producer Pat has brought many projects to fruition from comedies like ‘Killinaskully’, ‘Mattie’ and ‘Inside The Crystal Ball’ to prime time documentaries such as ‘Bring Back Bosco’ and ‘Having a Laugh-Great Comedy Moments on TV’.Pat is in three feature films to be released later this year ‘Life’s a Breeze’ directed by Lance Daly, ‘Calvary’ directed by John Michael McDonagh and ‘Frank’ directed by Lenny Abrahamson. Pat will be starring alongside Daiel Radcliff this summer in the Noel Coward Theatre in London’s West End, in the ‘Cripple of Inismaan’ by Martin McDonagh.

In 2017 Faye Shortt studied at the Gaiety School of Acting, The National Theatre School of Ireland. In 2019 Faye graduated from the Gaiety and went on to train at ow Street Academy of Screen Acting. Faye was taught by the world renowned acting coach Gerry Grynell, who has trained actors such as Heath Ledger, Johnny Depp, Timothee Chalemet and many more.  

In 2020 Faye graduated from Bow Street and went on to co-create sketch’s for social media alongside Pat Shortt. Faye co- wrote and performed a sketch  for Ireland’s comic relief which was aired on RTE one in 2020. With the success of the sketch’s online and comic relief, the pair were asked to create a sketch for the New Year’s Eve special aired on RTE one. 

From 2020-2021 Pat and Faye co- wrote and performed two live stream shows for Gable End Media Ltd. Both live streams were commissioned and funded by The Department of Arts, Culture & Heritage. The pair are currently on tour across the country with their live comedy show “Well”, which was co- written by Pat and Faye.

Our slate includes comedy, factual and entertainment programmes, produced for major broadcasters. Previous productions include ‘Killinaskully’, ‘Mattie’ and ‘Inside the Crystal Ball’ (both starring Pat Shortt and commissioned by RTE), and ‘Having a Laugh’ and ‘That’s Entertainment’ documentaries (both for TV3) to name a few.
